Welcome to the Gym Bag Essentials store. With over 30 years experience we have seen dramatic changes to gym culture from niche training spaces dominated by bodybuilders into community-focused wellness hubs prioritising longevity, mental health and functional strength.

Although gyms and gym culture has evolved, it was clear that gym equipment was evolving at a much slower rate.  It still felt a very male dominated area with "women's" versions of accessories being very outdated "baby blue" and "baby pink" versions of otherwise, very masculine accessories.  If you wanted quality, your only option was to buy from the premium brands targeting elite athletes with hefty price tags.  We wanted to do for gym accessories what many others were starting to do for gym clothing and bring quality products with budget friendly price tags to all the people taking their training seriously but wanting accessories to fit with their gym style and individuality.

Gym Bag Essentials was created to provide a better selection of innovative, quality accessories in a larger selection of colours and options for all tastes.  Our goal became one to help navigate the world of gym and travel accessories by hand picking what we consider to be the most essential items everybody should have in their gym or travel bag, making their lives run that little bit more efficiently.

Innovation and trends are exciting, but often products don't live up to the expectation.  Our job is to find quality products that have a tangible benefit to you and showcase products you didn't even know you needed.  We work tirelessly with our customers to ensure we only provide products that meet that very specific brief.
